Effective 10 September 2026. Tanvi Arts, operated by Tanvi Parashar, uses the following information to provide ebook purchases and downloads.
Information we collect
We store the adult account holder’s name, email address, password hash, recovery-code hash, order details, payment references and download timestamps. For new accounts, we send a short-lived verification code to confirm your email address before creating the account. Pending signup details and a password hash are held temporarily in your session. Admin sign-in also requires an authenticator code. If you contact us through the website, your name, reply email, subject and message are emailed to our support mailbox. We use security logs, short-lived CAPTCHA challenges and hashed IP/email rate-limit counters to protect accounts and prevent abuse. CAPTCHA images are generated by this website without a third-party tracking service. We do not ask for children’s personal information.
How information is used
We use account and purchase information to sign you in, verify payments, provide purchased files, resolve support requests and maintain transaction records. Passwords and recovery codes are stored as hashes, not readable text.
Payments and service providers
Razorpay handles payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not store card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs. Our hosting provider processes site data to operate the store. Site fonts may be requested from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to deliver them.
Cookies and browser storage
We use an essential session cookie for sign-in and security, and browser storage for your book bag. The site does not currently include Meta Pixel, advertising cookies or an AI chatbot. The helper displays preset ebook answers and does not save a chat history.
Retention and your choices
We retain account and transaction records as needed to provide purchases, handle disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact support@tanviarts.com to request access, correction or deletion. Some transaction records may need to be retained. Account deletion can affect access to your purchases.
